Behaviour Consultation & Packages

Service Description

These consultations are to help address unwanted behaviours such as fear or anxiety, reactive dogs, separation issues, guarding problem. We have different options to suit what you need! All first sessions will be at our Training Centre in Selkirk, if you need us to come to you there will be a travel charge applied (see below). Behaviour Assessment - A initial session where we will assess the behaviour problems that you are having, a full report is included in this. Further session will be suggested depending on the behaviour problem (no training plan provided) Behaviour Consultation - A session at our training centre, Selkirk (1:30-2hrs) + full detailed report and training plan. Behaviour Package - Initial session (1:30-2hrs), full detailed report and training plan + 1 follow up visit*. Behaviour Reactive Package - Initial session (1:30-2hrs), full detailed report and training plan + 3 follow up visits* (these follow up visits will last no longer than 30 minutes and are to work on the reactivity of your dog, stooge dogs will be used). We only use force free - reward based methods in all our consultations. There is rarely a quick fix for well established behaviour problems. Behaviour consultations are seen on a veterinary referral basis (a vet referral form will be provided, this must be returned before the appointment). You will also be sent a questionnaire prior to the visit for us to get as much information as possible. The first session will take place at our training centre in Selkirk. If you need us to come to you there will be a travel charge of 60p per mile each from Earlston. *Extra travel charges may apply.
